EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute)




Here's a simple EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute) workout you can do at home. EMOM workouts involve performing sets of exercises at the beginning of every minute and resting for the remainder of the minute. Repeat this process for a set duration.


Warm-up:

Before starting the EMOM workout, it's essential to warm up. Spend 5-10 minutes doing light cardio, such as jumping jacks, jogging in place, or high knees.


EMOM Workout:

Perform each exercise at the beginning of every minute and rest for the remaining time. Start with 10 minutes and adjust as needed based on your fitness level.


  1. Bodyweight Squats:

  • Perform 15-20 squats at the beginning of each minute.

  1. Push-ups:

  • Perform 10-15 push-ups at the beginning of each minute.

  1. Plank:

  • Hold a plank position for 30-45 seconds at the beginning of each minute.

  1. Jumping Jacks:

  • Perform 40-50 jumping jacks at the beginning of each minute.

  1. Mountain Climbers:

  • Perform 20-30 mountain climbers at the beginning of each minute.

Cool Down:

After completing the EMOM workout, take a few minutes to cool down. Stretch your muscles and focus on deep breathing.


Remember to listen to your body and modify the workout based on your fitness level. If the exercises are too challenging, decrease the number of repetitions or the movement. 


Conversely, if you find them easy, increase the intensity or add more challenging exercises. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting a new fitness program, especially if you have any pre-existing health conditions.
